The
Bengal Cats have wild looking marking such as large apots, rosettes and light white with body structure reminiscent of
Leopard Cat.
Bengal Cat rosetted spots occur only on the back and sides with stripes elsewhere. The
breed typically also features "mascara" (horizontal striping alongside the eyes) and foreleg striping.

Bengal Cat is usually either claaed as brown spotted or snow spotted, brown and snow are only colours of Bengal that the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) recognise.

Bengal Cat kept as a pet should be at least four generations removed from the Leopard Cat.
The Foundation Cats from the first three filial
generations of breeding are usually reserved for breeding purposes or specialty pet home environment.
